Our last stop in Scotland was a town outside of Edinburgh, Dunfermline.
Chalk it up to me watching too many movies, but this place gave me the willies.
Walking through the ancestral cobblestone streets of Dunfermline as the sun was setting on a brisk Sunday night. The shops were closing and there was scarce traces of human activity while we got haunting stares from creepy locals huddled in pub doorways as we made our way towards the ancient cemetery amid the ruins...
Life and Death together again.
Ruins of the Royal Palace.
