We've both have been very busy with work, but have managed to do a few things.
- Saw Ratatouille and Pixar just knows how to make good movies. Solid story, interesting characters and amazing animation. Not my favorite Pixar film, but worth seeing.
- Rented the Korean horror film, The Host and REALLY liked it. Beautiful shot compositions, funny, tragic and a very well designed monster. Excellent movie!
- Visited an inspiring Art Show at a unlikely spot, the Glendale Forest Lawn Cemetery Museum. Visions: The World of Fantasy Art had a great combination of art including some early Disney animation concept sketches, paintings from Syd Mead, wonderful illustrations from William Stout and more. Some gorgeous classical art in the permanent collection there as well. Nice!
