Upstate!

Akiko and I headed back East for the Holiday, landed in Rochester and then drove over to the Catskills to meet Nazuki, Steve and baby Matthew in Woodstock, NY.

As you can see, they are still playing up the whole "Hippie" thing there.

We got see gorgeous fall colors and it's now official... I don't miss 30 degree weather one single bit.

Matthew is now 1 year and 9 months old and as cute as ever.

Steve took us to an awesome spot called Platteclove/Seven Falls for some hiking.

We then hit Stockbridge, Mass to take in the the Norman Rockwell Museum and have dinner with Akiko's college buddy, Cathy.
On our way back to Roch we stopped at few places along the Hudson river.

Akiko at Clemont.

An amazing view from painter Frederick Church's compound at Olana.

Spent a night of good food and conversation with High School pal Brian Brundage and his family in Auburn, NY where they have a sweet house on lake Owasco.

Then it was back to Roch with family for Thanksgiving where Super Cute Toddler, Taryn, definitely knew how to charm the crowd.

Also want to send out a huge Thank You to all our buds that came out on a wet night to meet up with us at The Otter Lodge to tip a few beers. You guys and gals rock!
